Several masterplan workshops with students, staff, and the P&C were conducted with the Giralang School Community. The Student Representative Council (SRC) showed great interest and eagerness to participate in the masterplan design process. The parents had a wide range of knowledge, experience and wisdom that they brought to the discussion. Teachers and staff were clear about the curriculum needs, play, research, sustainability, and their needs for safety, security and site supervision. All social needs expressed and collected at workshops are valuable in informing the decisions made on the Masterplan.
The Masterplan will be completed over the School Winter Break, and ready for further discussion and feedback from the school.
