Certificate of Recognition as Regenerative Practitioner

After many years of passion for this topic, Director Paul Barnett has finally obtained the Regenerative Practitioner Certificate from the Regenesis Institute for Regenerative Practice. PBDG has always been passionate about doing good for the environment and our community through regenerative design. Whether it is doing naturescape projects that regenerate the ecology, natural landscape, and community, or designing high-performance buildings that use sustainable materials, improve energy efficiency, and reduce cost, we always strive to apply regenerative concepts to our work.
We look at systemic frameworks that allow us to understand how regenerative development could be applied at the project and community levels. It will be exciting in the new year to implement the regenerative approaches in our practice and interactions with the industry.
Regenerative practitioners are those of us who feel called to intervene in the systems that shape our human impact on the world we inhabit, to create new potential for how human communities interact with their natural contexts…. Regenerative practitioners are committed not only to valuing nature’s needs, but also to becoming fluent in nature’s language; to think like nature thinks so that we might work in co-evolutionary partnership with her.
