Living Pod, Housing, and Residential enquiries have been through the roof this past year because of the huge demand for homes that meet the needs of all different people after this Covid Pandemic.
These designs are pre-study prototypes of a Living Pod Demonstration Community. This seeks to show how housing can support communities and respond to the needs of each individual family’s living composition. This concept also aims to reduce housing costs for everyone, maximise the overall community environment, and have ever-adaptable living patterns that fit with the wider society’s situations.
Director Paul Barnett donated his time and expertise to this case for the development of future Canberra housing by co-directing the study conducted by Chief Designer Ian at the Local NGO Living Streets Association.
