Students involved in the “International Architectural Lecture and Design Workshop” were granted a scholarship opportunity from the Taiwan Department of Education to travel to Australia for an international architectural internship with Associate Professor Paul Barnett. They will be touring many of PBDG’s architecture projects, seeing in person the beauty of the Bush Capital, and experiencing a cross-culture learning that can only be done overseas.
Students have been working online and overseas with Professor Barnett since 2021. It is hugely exciting for them to arrive in the city and see sites with their own eyes that they have seen online for the past half-year. Their Regenerative Microvillage design work will be further developed after their deeper understanding of Australia’s culture through immersion with our communities.
