2020 JANUARY
During the summer of 2020, eleven students from Chung Hua University Taiwan visited Australia to gain an overseas internship experience. Coming from landscape architecture and industrial design departments, the students engaged in a course where designed a naturescape playground for a Canberra site.
Paul Barnett assisted them in learning about local culture, landscape features, and design elements to create uniquely Canberran children’s play equipment. Paul also shared case studies of his award-winning projects, his concepts on sustainable communities, and his Design Journey Language. The students were amazed at the easily understandable concepts that Paul presented to them and benefited a lot from these talks.
